About the Author
Rebecca Friedman Lockhart
I’m an author, solopreneur and a sign language interpreter with a deep desire to keep growing emotionally, mentally and spiritually. Most of what I do is in service to this desire.
I love writing because it feeds my soul, and I feel connected to something greater than myself. I love having a pet and home care business that combines my love of animals, my business acumen, and my ability to help people have peace of mind while they are away from what they hold most dear. I love interpreting because it allows me to connect with another culture, which deepens my understanding of myself as a human being. I’m embodying others and seeing life through their lens when I interpret; it broadens my perspective. I love traveling, meeting new people, and having new experiences because I value learning and applying what I learn about others to help me be a better human.
When I’m not traveling, you’ll usually find me on my porch at my home in the Hudson Valley with my coffee, journal, and laptop close at hand.
